Saturdays

First I went to the post office, never do that on a Saturday again. Tried to get the kids passports. What a waste of time. The line was to long and wasn't moving. Next I went to my sons soccer game. He plays on the Hockesson Heat. He plays defence, don't ask me what position because I have no idea, I just like watching him. Then I came home and made sausage and peppers. My husband loves this so much he wants to make a candle scent out of it. Post office, soccer and cooking what a way to spend my Saturday.

T.G.I.F

Ahhh the weekend is here. A time to sleep in and rest, unless the house needs to be cleaned, laundry has to get done or kids need to be shuttled from one place to another. This should be a time for rest however in my house it's a time to catch up on thing that we let go over the week because of our busy schedules. Come one Monday?!?!

TV Watching

I can never seem to pull myself away from the TV anymore. There are so many shows that I want to watch. Nothing is getting done around my house.

Gas Prices

I can't believe we are paying so much for gas. This is going to really start to have a major impact on an already unstable economy.

Time Again

WOW, it has been well over a year since I last wrote anything to this blog.

Texas holdem

Never start an online game of texas holdem late at night. I need to get some sleep but I'm doing good and it's midnight. What was I thinking???

Weather

Your weather in the northeast has finally improved. The rain was really getting annoying.

Time

Wow, has time past by since my last post. I went from Soccer State Cup for my son to High School Graduation for my daughter to a weeks vacation at Myrtle Beach to a Graduation Party at the house to night work to swim team meets for my son. This is the first weekend in at least two months that I have nothing to do but surf the web and have a cold beer.

Traffic

What is the deal with people having to slow down and look at an accident? You want to see accidents, watch the news! Stop slowing down my drive for your lame curiosity.

Coke

Since my Blog is titled "Things I like", I thought I'd accually tell you something I like. Coca-Cola is terrible for the human body but I love it. Sorry to say that but nothing tastes better at lunch when you have that great big sub and a bag of chip than a Coke. Of course the sub and chips are also bad for you but oh-well. Are you old enough to remember the saying "have a coke and a smile"

Snow Sucks

Well it snowed in De. today. Cleaning cars, driveways, sidewalks, driving kids to sledding all sucks.

Snow

We are about to get our first real snow storm in the Delaware area. The kids are excited but I am not. My back already hurts just thinking about having to shovel.

Nothing At All

Today was a great day.

Slot watchers

Do you ever play slot machines and the person next to you watches your screen on every push of the button. I can see them move their head. It drives me crazy! How can they have any fun if they are constantly worrying about what others are getting?

Kids Don't Care

Don't you love when your kid does not get into some school or make some team or win the big prize and they are fine but you are torn up. Kids have a god given gift to not give a crap about anything but having fun.
