Plants

I think that homes with real plants look really pretty. I love the life that they give to a room. Flowering plants are especially nice. They give a nice natural splash of color. I am jealous of people that have a green thumb and can achieve this. To bad I have a brown thumb, no one wants to see dead plant in the house.

Chocolate

I there anything better after a long day at work then chocolate? I'm sure some of you would not agree however chocolate is my go to pick me up. I don't care what kind it is. I will eat it. Covering something in chocolate is even better. It gives me a sugar high that I need to get me through the rest of the day. I had a bad day today so bring on the chocolate!

I moved to Laguna Beach three years ago for work and think it’s time to head home. I got my first Finance job out here and started out making what I thought was a lot of money. That is, until I went to buy groceries, signed up for direct tv pacific beach CA, got my power bill, and went out for a night on the town. Break. The. Bank. No one tells you when you move here that the massive check you get every two weeks that would buy you a brand new BMW in Atlanta will barely cover your utilities in California. Obviously, the other perks are incredible. The weather, the women. But, I don’t know how much longer I can scrape pennies just to take a woman out on a date. I live in a studio apartment overlooking a cement pad with no outdoor space and no central air. What I pay in rent could buy me a Buckhead loft overlooking the skyline of Atlanta and a fancy-schmancy meal 3 nights a week. Time to start packing.

Jeans

Jeans are one of the best clothing items I own. I wear them all the time. My favorite are True Religion. The fit fantastic. The come in all different styles and fades. The have a wonderful men and kids selection also. Just go to truereligionbrandjeans.com and find your nearest store.

Dogs

I don't have a dog but I would really love to have one. I don't care it is little or big. Short or long haired. Chubby or skinny. High strung or mild mannered. Loud or quiet. But my husband told me it was him or a dog. Hhmmmm the verdict is still out.

Best You Ever Hads

Toasted English muffin, fried egg, pork roll, American cheese and ketchup. Yummmmmm

Eggs

Eggs, eggs wonderful eggs. Eggs are one of the best foods. All the great things you can do with them. Scramble, fry, poach, hard boil and soft boil. Make quiches, omelets, deviled, souffles and eggs salad. Put them in cakes, salads, breads, meats and sandwiches. Hhhmmmm I'm hungry I think I'll make something with eggs.

Thirty one

I am a bag junky. I love all kind of bags. I have them everywhere in my house. They hold makeup, toilet paper, junk mail, cleaning supplies, newspapers, recycle,and anything else I can think of. My favorite place to buy them is Thirty one. They have everything you can think of. You can also choose different patterns to go with your house decor. They also have hand bags. I love these because you just by one bag and can change out the outside of the bag with what they call a skirt. This way you have a lot of options. I highly suggest that everyone check them out.

Hot Showers

It's February and my son had a soccer game outside. Yes I said OUTSIDE! Wow was it cold. When I got home I thought I would never get warm. I tried hot soup and a heating pad. They worked OK but I still had a chill. As I was wrapped up in two blankets i finally got the bright idea to take a shower. Not a normal get in get out shower but a long steamy hot shower. AAAAHHHHH it felt like heaven. They steam felt like warm blankets. My feet started to thaw out and my nose didn't feel like icicles were hang off it. A hot shower is now my go to after a cold blustery day.

Sheets

I love having a great night sleep. A nice bed, the room is dark, the right temperature in the room and soft sheets. My favorite are Pure Beech. They are soft, smooth and silky. They mold to your body and cradel you in pure bliss. It's a must try for everyone that wants a peacful sleep.

NyQuil

It's cold season again. I am conjested, have a cough and a fever. It stinks being sick. The only thing that get me trough the days and nights is NyQuil. It is a wonder drug. Helps me get through work and to sleep at night. Thanks Vicks for making this product.

Many nights when I lie down, my mind insists on running wild. It’s as if the silence magnifies the endless list of to-do’s in my mind. Last night was no different. Instead of lying there tossing and turning, I flipped on tvbydirect and zoned out to some mindless television. Within 15 mihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifnutes, I was snoozing on the sofa. Maybe I have finally found the cure to my insomnia, although my husband may not agree. It was very nice to fall asleep so quickly but when I woke up, I was completely confused as to where I was and what in the world was on the television. I just want to say there are some very strange things that come on at 3 am. I was convinced I was still dreaming. I fumbled around for the remote and turned off the twilight zone saga. I just sat there on the edge of the sofa trying to comprehend what just happened. The tv may have helped me fall asleep but it was certainly was enough to give me nightmares in the middle of the night so I will not be making a habit of falling asleep with it on.

New Books

For everyone that wanted the Kindle or ipad for Christmas and didn't get one don't be sad. There is something on the market that everyone can afford. It called a book. And the best feature with it is that you can turn the pages. The best ones are new books. Can't you just feel the fresh new pages on you finger tips? I always loved going into a book store and seeing all the new fresh books there are to buy. Aaahhhh nothing like a new book.

After Christmas Sales

Sale,Sale Sale. My favorite word! The best deals are after Christmas. All the store are getting rid of their winter stock and the mark downs are amazing. You can buy all the things you didn't get for the holidays. Can you say new wardrobe.

My husband and I have been trying our best to cut household costs. Now that our kids are getting older, things are getting more and more expensive every day. Our daughter wants to wear trendy and expensive clothes, and our son wants every electronic known to man.
